Quantum Learning Facilitator

Picture
In 2011, I was privileged to be hired by Quantum Learning Network of Oceanside, California and trained to be a SuperCamp Facilitator.  SuperCamp is the original academic, life and career skills camp. Since it began in 1982 as the first teen summer program of its kind—SuperCamp has become a respected worldwide leader in student programs that enhance academic, leadership, communication, and other essential skills for achievement and success in the 21st century.  As a Facilitator in Training (FIT) I received over 200 contact hours in the art of brain-based learning and quantum learning strategies at Wake Forest University, North Carolina.  After training, I was sent to SuperCamp Stanford University where I finished my practicum with an additional 300 hours of work.  Receiving this educator training has truly changed my life and how I teach students.  By using proven brain-based learning principles, I  keep my teaching fun, engaging and meaningful for the students.  When the students are having fun and being treated fairly in a safe environment, then "learning" is happening!
